I found the Grassy Plateau just past the Kelp Forest. It's a beautiful area with red grass and lots of wrecks to explore.

The Grassy Plateau is east or southeast of the starting lifepod, around the coordinates 200, -100, 300. Dive in and enjoy the red grass!
