Shinjuku is a treasure trove for Pokemon card collectors! Your first stop should definitely be the Pokémon Center Mega Tokyo located in Ikebukuro, just a short train ride from Shinjuku. It's literally Pokemon paradise, with a vast selection of cards, including limited editions you won't find anywhere else. Another not-to-miss spot is Yodobashi Camera, a massive electronics store in Shinjuku that also has an impressive collection of Pokemon cards. Don't forget about Nakano Broadway too – it's a bit of a journey but worth it for rare finds.

Honestly, just hit up Akihabara. You can find everything Pokemon there, and it's not that far from Shinjuku.

Mandarake in Shinjuku is THE place for rare collectibles, including some pretty epic Pokemon cards. You might have to dig around, but finding that gem in the rough makes it all the more satisfying!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
