Easy peasy! Just fire up your Steam client, click on 'Games' at the top of the window, and select 'Activate a Product on Steam.' Follow the on-screen instructions, enter your key when prompted, and voilà, you're all set to download your game!

Just do it through the Steam app. Hit 'Games' > 'Activate a Product on Steam' and boom, punch in your key.
