You'll find the first gun inside a bunker that's nestled deep in the southern part of the map. Just follow the coastline until you spot a cave entrance. It's well worth the trek!

Head to the beach on the southeast corner of the map. There's a downed helicopter there with a pistol waiting for you. Happy hunting!
