Check the main hub areas on larger planets like New Atlantis or Neon. They usually have well-equipped workstations including weapon workbenches.
Weapon workbench locations are scattered throughout the game, but I found one super handy in my ship鈥檚 cargo bay. Customize your ship right, and you won't have to look far!
