Deep Grand Reef is your best bet. Dive deep and keep an eye out for those crimson crystals!

You can find aluminum oxide crystals in the Grand Reef and Deep Grand Reef biomes. Just look for the red crystals on the sea floor and near thermal vents!

I've found them easiest in the Grand Reefs. Just be cautious of the creatures lurking around!
