For top-notch combat armor in Fallout 4, you gotta hit up the National Guard Training Yard. You'll be fighting some ghouls, but it's worth it for the loot. Don't forget to check the armory locked behind the security door - that's where the good stuff is. Also, the wreck of the USS Riptide often has raiders decked out in combat armor. Take 'em down and kit yourself out!

Honestly, just roam around and loot every raider you see. Sooner or later, you'll have more combat armor pieces than you know what to do with.

Combat armor? Easy. Quincy Ruins. Be ready though, you're gonna face a ton of Gunners. It's practically a combat armor buffet if you can handle the heat.

Quincy Ruins is overkill. Just hit smaller raider camps. Less drama, still get gear.
