Mutfruit's pretty easy to stumble upon in the Commonwealth. You'll often find it in settlements and farms across the wasteland. Places like Sanctuary Hills and The Slog have them growing in the open. If you're in a rush, hit up those spots!
Just grow it yourself. Seriously, grab a mutfruit plant, stick it in the ground at your settlement, and wait. Before you know it, you'll have all the mutfruit you could ever want.
