You can find rope pretty easily by checking out the abandoned campsites scattered around the map. Look for tents and you'll often find some there!

Rope can also be found in some of the caves. Gear up and explore the dark depths for a chance to find it.
Abandoned boats along the shoreline sometimes have ropes, too. Take a stroll on the beach and keep an eye out!
Check the cannibal villages! It's risky, but they often have rope lying around in their camps. Just be sneaky or well-armed!
Honestly, just look around the map and you'll stumble upon rope eventually. It's not that rare.
