Check the Safe Shallows and right outside the Kelp Forests. Salt deposits are pretty common there!

No joke, the easiest place to find salt is in the Safe Shallows. Just swim around and they practically come to you.

I've always found plenty of salt deposits around the Red Grass Plateau biome. They really stand out on the red terrain.

Look near the Grassy Plateaus and around the edges of the Safe Shallows, but avoid the Stalkers!
