Stingwings can be quite the pests, but if you're looking to hunt them down, your best bets are around swampy areas and the edges of water sources. The Western part of the map, especially near the Coast Guard Pier and the areas surrounding the Charles River, tend to have a good number of them flitting about. Also, check out the outskirts of Diamond City or near the irradiated zones; those critters love hanging around those spots.

Literally just walk around outside for 5 minutes. Stingwings are everywhere, and they'll find you before you find them!

If you're on a stingwing quest, go to the Fens. Got ambushed by a bunch near there, talk about an unexpected surprise party.
