Just play the game, lol. Seriously, doing literally anything in Honkai Star Rail seems to throw EXP at you.
Grinding side quests is the way to go for EXP, IMO. Story missions are great and all, but side quests are where I found my groove. Plus, they add more to the story, which is always a bonus.
