To snag the 'Stench of the Dead' in Hogwarts Legacy, you gotta dive into the darker corners of the Forbidden Forest. It's usually found by looting chests or as a drop from defeating certain foes. Keep your wand ready and your potions stocked; the Forbidden Forest isn't exactly a stroll in the park. Happy hunting!

Just grind it out. 'Stench of the Dead' drops from enemies in the Forbidden Forest. No need to complicate things. Fight, loot, and repeat. Simple.

Actually, you can also trade for it in Hogsmeade village. Some of the vendors there have a knack for stocking rare items like 'Stench of the Dead'. It's a bit of a hit or miss, but definitely worth checking before you go gallivanting into the Forbidden Forest.
