I always head to the Boney Burbs area. There’s usually an NPC hanging around there who you can hire for some extra firepower.

You can hire NPCs in Fortnite by visiting specific characters located around the map. Look for the speech bubble icons on your map. One spot is always at The Orchard, north of the Corny Complex.
