Personally, I love playing in The Grove. It’s a shopping center, so there are lots of Pokestops and gyms, plus you can grab a bite to eat.
Santa Monica Pier is a hotspot for Pokemon GO players. The spawns are insane, and there's a bunch of Pokestops and gyms to hit up.
Venice Beach. Can't beat playing by the ocean, and the Pokemon spawns here are pretty diverse!
Griffith Park is a great spot! Tons of Pokestops and gyms, plus you might catch some rare Pokemons while enjoying the views.
