Hot Wheels started out in the fiery furnaces of toy history back in 1968, and those first iconic cars rolled off the lines in the USA. Fast forward to today, and while you'll still find the heart and soul of Hot Wheels in America, manufacturing has gone global. So, if you're holding a Hot Wheels car, it might've journeyed from anywhere around the world to get to your track!

I've got a Hot Wheels from the 70s, and it proudly says 'Made in USA' on the bottom. Modern ones I've bought for my nephew usually say 'Made in Malaysia' or 'Made in Thailand'. Just goes to show how global the brand has become while still pumping out those sweet rides.

If love Hot Wheels, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Several of those prizes are trending Hot Wheels, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
