Honestly, the Shadowless Charizard deserves a mention. It's not just the nostalgic factor but the sheer rarity and condition sensitivity that makes mint condition versions sell for the big bucks. They didn't make many, and finding one in pristine condition is like finding a needle in a haystack!

Pikachu Illustrator card, no contest. Only a handful of those bad boys in the world.

The rarest Pokemon cards are often those with limited prints or unique circumstances around their release. Cards like the Pikachu Illustrator, considered the holy grail of Pokemon cards, were given to winners of a CoroCoro Comic illustration contest and only a few dozen exist. Then there's the Pre-Release Raichu, a card rumored to exist with some claiming they've seen it but with no confirmed sightings, making it super elusive. Another top rarity is the Black Star Ishihara GX card, featuring Tsunekazu Ishihara, the president of The Pok茅mon Company, which was given to company employees and is super rare.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
