I really enjoyed the 'Power' arc, episodes 290-295. It's an original story that fits well into the main plot and has some great fights!
Only watch the fillers if you're a completionist. Honestly, most of them are skippable. The main story is where the magic's at.
Episodes 394-413 focus on Hinata and the others during the Chunin Exams. It's a nostalgic throwback and adds some interesting character moments!
If you love Jiraiya, catch episodes 432-450. They offer a fun 'what if' scenario from his novel series. A nice mix of nostalgia and 'what could have been.'
