Honestly, just look for anything pink from the '60s or '70s. For some reason, those are like gold in the Hot Wheels universe.

The most valuable Hot Wheels cars are often those that are rare or were produced in limited quantities. The 1969 Pink Rear-Loading Volkswagen Beach Bomb is a unicorn in the Hot Wheels world, rumored to be worth over $100,000 due to its unique design and scarcity. Then there鈥檚 the 1971 Purple Olds 442, one of the rarest regular-production Hot Wheels ever made, fetching upwards of several thousand dollars. These are exceptional cases, but generally, limited editions, prototype models, and cars with manufacturing errors tend to fetch the highest prices among collectors.

Don't get too caught up in the hype. While some Hot Wheels can sell for big bucks, most aren't going to fund your retirement. Collect what you love, not just what you think will make you rich.

If love Hot Wheels, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Several of those prizes are trending Hot Wheels, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
