Magma is generally better for PvP due to its high damage and AoE attacks, but Flame is great for mobility and farming. Choose based on what you need more!

Flame all the way! It's faster, has good range, and better for hit-and-run tactics. Plus, flying is super fun!

As someone who has both, I'd say Flame is more versatile for moving around islands and quick fights, but Magma is a beast for grinding bosses.
