Tales of Vesperia. Better graphics, more refined combat, and Yuri Lowell is just cooler than Lloyd. Fight me.
I personally enjoyed Tales of Symphonia more. The story just hit me harder and I loved the characters. Plus, it was the first entry that got me hooked on the series!
Vesperia's combat system is more sophisticated, but Symphonia has a charm that's hard to beat. Play both and decide for yourself!
