Honestly, just look at anything Alpha or Beta. Those early cards are where the real treasure's at. Good luck finding them at a garage sale though!

Black Lotus from the Alpha set takes the crown, no contest. It's like the golden ticket of MTG - finding one in mint condition can make you feel like you've hit the jackpot. But if we're talking whole sets, Alpha, Beta, and Unlimited are the OGs that'll make your wallet weep tears of joy (or sorrow, depending on how you see it).

While Alpha and Beta sets are obviously at the top, don't sleep on Reserved List cards from sets like Arabian Nights and Antiquities. They're not making any more of those, so their value just keeps going up.

Power Nine from the Alpha set. It's not even close. If you're sitting on any of these, it's like owning a piece of MTG history. Cha-ching!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
