The 1999 Base Set Charizard is definitely one of the rarest and most sought-after cards. Not just for its power in the game, but also for its nostalgia factor. People love Charizard, and a first edition holographic one? That's pure gold. Another gem from '99 is the Pikachu Illustrator card, given only to winners of a comic contest in Japan. Super rare and super valuable. Don't forget about the first edition holographic Blastoise and Venusaur; they're also pretty rare and can fetch a nice price among collectors.

Charizard, no question. That card has been the crown jewel for collectors since day one. Not just any Charizard though, the first edition holographic one from the Base Set. If you have it, you鈥檙e sitting on a small fortune!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
