Which Pokemon TCG set is the best?

Hands down, it's gotta be the Base Set for pure nostalgia. Nothing beats opening a pack and finding a Charizard – it’s like unearthing a treasure chest! Plus, it laid the foundation for the whole game. The newer sets are cool with all their flashy GX and V cards, but nothing hits quite like the classics.

Honestly, it depends on what you're into. Competitive players might lean towards the latest sets for the meta-changing cards. Collectors? They might say the Shining Legends for those elusive shiny Pokemons. There's really no one-size-fits-all answer here.

Shadow Rider Calyrex VMAX from the Chilling Reign set wins, period. Competitive scene is all over it.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
