Yeah, the SNES version got a lot of flak for toning down the violence, unlike its Genesis counterpart.

The Super Nintendo version of the original Mortal Kombat was heavily censored. No blood, just sweat鈥攍ike a 90s workout video!

Who cares about the old ports? Just play the latest Mortal Kombat on current-gen systems. Problem solved!

The Sega Genesis version had censorship too, but you could unlock the blood and gore with a cheat code. Ain't that a riot?

If you're a Mortal Kombat player looking for extra coins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Mortal Kombat essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
