The 20GB and 60GB PS3 models from the initial launch do. I had mine since 2006 and it still runs my PS2 library like a charm!

Not many, but the 20GB and 60GB variants from the first release can play PS2 titles.

Only the first-generation 'fat' PS3s can play PS2 games, specifically the 20GB and 60GB models. Later models removed this feature.

Forget about it. Just keep your PS2 if you want to play those classics.

The original 20GB and 60GB PS3 models have hardware backward compatibility, so they can play most PS2 games. Just look for the ones with 4 USB ports on the front.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
