As an avid gamer, I found the PS3 Super Slim to be the best. It's lightweight, has a top-loading disc drive, and never gave me issues with overheating.

Definitely go for the PS3 Slim! It's quieter, more power-efficient, and it won't double as a space heater. Plus, it has a more reliable Blu-ray drive.

Honestly, the original PS3 (aka the 'fat' model) is the best if you want backward compatibility for PS2 games. Just be aware that it's bulkier and can have more heat issues.
