Choosing talents in Hogwarts Legacy really boils down to your play style, but I'd recommend leaning into Spell Knowledge talents early on. They let you cast more spells quicker, which is a huge advantage in both duels and when you're out exploring. Also, don't sleep on the Stealth talents if you like sneaking around; they make it way easier to get the drop on enemies or avoid fights altogether.

Honestly, just pick whatever sounds fun to you. Hogwarts Legacy is pretty forgiving, so you're not going to mess up your game by choosing the 'wrong' talents. That said, the Potions talents are pretty underrated. Being able to brew stronger potions can save you in a pinch during tougher battles.
Potions talents are a waste. Focus on combat and spell casting. Way more useful.
