Discs go in label side to the right if it's horizontal, or facing you if the console is standing vertical. Happy gaming!

Label side towards the USB ports. Simple as that.

Insert PS5 discs with the label side facing towards the USB ports while the console is horizontal. If it's vertical, the label should face left.
