Who are the bad guys in Fallout 4?
That's a bit of a loaded question because Fallout 4's charm is its moral ambiguity. But, if we're speaking strictly faction-wise, many see The Institute as the primary antagonist due to their secretive nature and their use of synths to replace humans. On the other hand, some players argue that the Brotherhood of Steel's extremist views and actions make them the bad guys. Really, it depends on your perspective and the choices you make in the game.

Raiders. End of story. They shoot first and ask questions never. While the bigger factions have their agendas, raiders are universally troublesome.
Honestly, the real bad guy is the post-apocalyptic world itself, forcing everyone to make tough choices for survival. But if I had to pick, I'd say The Institute creeps me out the most with their shady business.
The Institute, hands down. They think they're the future of humanity but replacing people with synths and their general lack of empathy? That's villain material in my book.
