Rockstar Games, folks! Well, technically it was DMA Design who kicked things off with the first GTA game, then Rockstar took over and turned it into the giant franchise we know and love today.

DMA Design, which later became part of Rockstar Games, originally created Grand Theft Auto back in 1997. It's pretty much the brainchild of a group of folks who thought car theft and causing chaos in virtual cities was a fun idea for a game.

Actually, it's all Rockstar. They've been behind GTA since day one, creating the mayhem-filled streets we all love to roam.

It was DMA Design initially, but let's be real, Rockstar Games is the name we all associate with GTA now. They've made the series what it is: an open-world playground of organized crime and chaos.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
