Goku defeats Hit during the Universe 6 vs Universe 7 tournament by pushing his limits and going toe-to-toe with Hit's time-skipping abilities.
I remember watching it live! Goku was amazing against Hit, but it's true that Jiren was the one who really took him down later.
During the Tournament of Power, Jiren from Universe 11 overwhelmed Hit. Jiren's power was on a whole other level!
