The first Grand Theft Auto game was developed by a company called DMA Design, which is known today as Rockstar North, a part of Rockstar Games. So, to put it simply, Rockstar is the big name behind GTA.

Rockstar, but actually it's DMA Design if you wanna get technical. They made the first one back in the '90s.

Rockstar Games didn't pop GTA out of thin air, folks! It was originally developed by DMA Design. Remember Lemmings? Same brains!

DMA Design, now Rockstar North, is the original developer of Grand Theft Auto. But let鈥檚 not forget, without Rockstar Games, GTA wouldn鈥檛 be the giant it is today. They took it and ran with it, making it one of the biggest franchises in gaming history.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
