From my experience with the series, relationships take a back seat to the epic battle for humanity鈥檚 survival. Don't expect any romantic conclusions.
Mikasa and Eren have some serious unresolved tension, but unfortunately, they don鈥檛 officially end up together. Cue the heartbreak.
In the end, most of the characters are too busy fighting for survival to have a traditional 'happy ending' together. Sorry, no fairy tales here.
