Hengist of Woodcroft founded Hogsmeade. Full stop. The man was a legend, escaping Muggle persecution and setting up the coolest wizarding village ever. No debate.

Hogsmeade, the only all-wizarding village in Britain, was founded over a thousand years ago by Hengist of Woodcroft. While fleeing from Muggle persecution, Hengist settled in what we now know as the magical village of Hogsmeade, right near Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. So, in Hogwarts Legacy, when you're wandering through Hogsmeade, remember you're walking through history, thanks to Hengist!

Actually, Hogsmeade was founded by Hengist of Woodcroft. The guy was looking for a safe place away from all those Muggle troubles, and voila, Hogsmeade was born, becoming a bustling wizarding hub next to Hogwarts. It鈥檚 like the old man had real estate magic or something.

If you're a Hogwarts Legacy player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
