Mike Becker is the genius behind Funko Pop! In 1998, he started Funko with the aim of bringing back low-tech, nostalgia-themed toys. He absolutely nailed it with the Funko Pops we know and love today. They're those cute, big-headed figures of just about every character you can think of from pop culture.

Actually, while Mike Becker founded Funko, the Funko Pop! vinyl line as we know it was really kicked into high gear by Brian Mariotti, who took over in 2005. Becker got the ball rolling, but Mariotti's the one who turned Pops into the massive collectible craze. So, kinda both of them?

Brian Mariotti, end of story. Sure, Becker started Funko, but without Mariotti's vision, Pops wouldn't be the phenomenon they are today. He transformed Funko with these iconic figures!
