Rockstar North, a part of Rockstar Games, deserves the credit for inventing GTA 5. As the lead developer, they brought us the massive, open-world experience littered with crime, cars, and chaos that we've all spent too much time playing.

GTA 5 wasn't just 'invented' by a single person, it was a massive team effort led by Rockstar North. They're the geniuses behind the game's detailed world, engaging storyline, and, let's not forget, the three protagonists that have made our gaming lives way more interesting.

Quick answer: Rockstar North created GTA 5, and it was published by Rockstar Games. So, technically, Rockstar Games gets the ultimate credit.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
