Carl Johnson, aka CJ, is the main character you play as in GTA San Andreas. He's a former gang member who returns to Los Santos after five years to find his mother murdered and his family and friends all in turmoil. Throughout the game, you're on a quest to re-establish his old gang, the Grove Street Families, navigate through corrupt cops, and take control of the streets.
