Cole Young is a new character introduced in the Mortal Kombat 2021 movie. He's an original creation for the film and isn't based on any character from the games.

Hot take: Cole wasn't in the original games. He's just a plot device for the film!

Cole is an MMA fighter who discovers he's a descendant of Scorpion, one of Mortal Kombat's most iconic characters. He's got the heart of a warrior, even if he didn't start out that way!

From my experience watching the Mortal Kombat movie, Cole Young serves as the audience's entry point into the MK universe. He's there to guide us through the chaos!

If you're a Mortal Kombat player looking for extra coins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Mortal Kombat essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
