Jairo was the king of NGL before the Chimera Ants messed everything up. His dark and twisted past made him a complex character. Gon never meets him though, which is kinda frustrating!
Jairo is pretty much the epitome of a tragic backstory. Born to an abusive father, ran away, and eventually became the ruler of a country. Talk about a rough life!

Jairo is a tragic character with a tough past. He originally shows up as the king of NGL (Neo-Green Life), but his unfortunate life story runs deeper. Definitely one of the more heartbreaking backstories in the series.
