In Solo Leveling, there isn't one single main villain that overshadows the whole story. Instead, the series introduces several antagonists as Sung Jinwoo climbs the ranks. Early on, it feels like the dungeons themselves and their monstrous inhabitants are his primary foes. However, as the story progresses, more complex characters like the National Level Hunters and eventually, the Monarchs and Rulers, reveal themselves as significant threats. Each has their own motives, but pinpointing one as the 'main' villain is tough since the story evolves.

Antares, the Monarch of Destruction, stands out as the most impactful antagonist towards the end of Solo Leveling. He's like the final boss that Sung Jinwoo must overcome. So, if you're looking for a name, Antares is your guy!

Honestly, the real villain? The system that keeps pushing Sung Jinwoo to his limits. But if we're talking characters, it's a toss-up between the Monarchs and the Rulers depending on where you're standing.
