The title of rarest Animal Crossing villager often changes due to updates and player discovery, but Raymond is a hot candidate. He's a smug cat with heterochromia, making him highly sought after for his unique appearance. Some players also consider villagers like Marshal, Ankha, and Judy to be among the rarest, mainly because of their popularity and the demand for them in the game.

I'd say it's not about rarity, but desirability. Every villager can technically be 'rare' depending on how RNGesus feels when you're island hopping. But yeah, Raymond's the one everyone seems to want.

Raymond, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Got him on my island and the envy is real.

Honestly, it's all about luck! But Raymond's definitely up there due to his cool eye colors. People also go crazy for Judy and her pastel colors.

Raymond. Period. Everyone else is just playing for second place in the rare villager competition.
