Street Fighter came first. Simple as that.
Street Fighter hit the arcades first in 1987, while King of Fighters debuted in '94. So, Street Fighter takes the crown this time!
As a long-time fan, I can tell you Street Fighter launched in '87, setting the stage for King of Fighters which came much later in 1994.
