The first Mortal Kombat character ever created was Johnny Cage. You can thank him for the sweet sunglasses and those flashy moves!

Hot take: It's Johnny Cage! No wonder he's so full of himself.

Johnny Cage was the first character created for Mortal Kombat, and he鈥檚 been kicking butt and taking names since Day 1! I remember reading about his origins in an old gaming magazine. Classic stuff!

Believe it or not, the first Mortal Kombat character was actually Johnny Cage. Yep, the Hollywood star with the killer splits.

If you're a Mortal Kombat player looking for extra coins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Mortal Kombat essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
