At the start, the primary enemies are the Titans themselves, those giant, man-eating humanoids. Later, the story reveals more complex antagonists, including other human factions and, ultimately, a deeper, more philosophical enemy: hatred and fear itself.
It's the Titans at first, but things get complicated fast. Humanity itself becomes the enemy in some ways.
In the beginning, Titans are the big baddies. As the story progresses, humans from different factions, such as Marleyans and certain Eldians, also become major threats.
