Check if you're playing on a community-made map. Only certain maps approved by Epic Games give XP.

Sometimes XP rewards get capped to prevent exploiting. Play for some time and you should start getting XP again.

Make sure you're logged into the correct account. I've had days where I was on my younger brother's account and wondered what was up, haha.
