You might be out of stamina! Sprinting in Fortnite uses up stamina, and when it's gone, you just walk. Give it a few seconds to refill and you'll be back to dashing around.

To avoid walking, make sure your character鈥檚 not carrying too heavy a load in your inventory. Lighten the load and see if that helps!

Check your key bindings. Sometimes the sprint key can get remapped or unbound. Make sure it's set to the right key and give it another go!

Honestly, walking in Fortnite isn't a bad thing. Gives you a chance to enjoy the scenery before getting back to the chaos!

Could be a glitch. Try restarting your game or maybe even your console/PC. Fortnite glitches can be weird like that.

If you're a Fortnite player looking for extra v-bucks, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Fortnite gift card, which you can win and use to get v-bucks essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
