In my experience working in a hospital, Crocs are prohibited because they don't provide enough protection against spills or dropped instruments. Trust me, it's for your feet's own good!
Crocs are banned in hospitals mainly because the holes can expose feet to hazardous materials like blood or needles. Safety first, folks!
