Fallout 4's long loading times are mostly due to the game's massive open world and the amount of data it needs to load. The game's detailed environments, numerous assets, and complex scripts all contribute to the loading times. Using an SSD instead of an HDD can significantly reduce these times, as SSDs have faster read speeds.

It's all about what's under the hood. Fallout 4 packs a ton of detail into its world. Every item, NPC, and piece of junk has to load up. If you're playing on an older system or don't have the game installed on an SSD, you're gonna feel the wait.

Honestly, it's just poor optimization. Other games have big worlds but manage better loading times. Might wanna look into mods that improve loading times or tweak settings for a smoother experience.

Too much stuff! The game's trying to get a whole apocalypse-ready Boston ready for you, give it a sec. Or, y'know, use an SSD and make that sec a lot shorter.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
