Digital games on PSN often cost more because they don't benefit from the same price competition that physical retailers engage in. Also, digital games include costs related to maintaining servers and digital rights management.

It's all about supply and demand, folks. Digital sales have fewer middlemen, so the price stays high to maximize profits.

PSN games are usually pricier due to the convenience factor, instant availability, and not having to worry about disc damage or loss.

Retailers need to compete with each other. Sony doesn鈥檛 have the same pressure on PSN.

Sometimes PSN prices remain high because they often include built-in costs for updates, patches, and online functionality. Speaking from experience, I've found that waiting for sales can make PSN games a lot more affordable!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
